Welcome to TriCarb Consortium for Carbon Sequestration (TCCS)

TriCarb Consortium for Carbon Sequestration (TCCS) consists of an organization of researchers from industry, academic and government partners with a common interest in CO2 sequestration research.

The focus of the group is on investigation, research and evaluation of the subsurface geology in the Newark Basin, while also advancing the knowledge base for advancing decisions on the use of geologic sequestration of CO2 as an approach to mitigate anthropogenic CO2 emissions.

The Consortium's Principal Investigators are Sandia Technologies, LLC, (Houston, Texas) in collaboration with Co-Principal Investigator, Conrad Geoscience Corp., (Poughkeepsie, New York). This group has assembled this organization for specific project management of the Department of Energy (DOE) project award on Geologic Characterization and investigation of the subsurface geology of the Newark Basin.
